Canada has numerous Trade Agreements with countries other than the United States of America and Mexico with whom Canada is a Partner in the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

(TRADE AGREEMENTS)

In addition, Canada offers preferential duty treatment to a large number of countries under two special Tariffs:

THE GENERAL PREFERENTIAL TARIFF and THE LEAST DEVELOPED COUNTRY TARIFF

All of these Trade Agreements extend preferential duty treatment and, in many cases, duty-free status to goods which originate in or are the product of the countries named in the Agreements.

All imports under any of the above Trade Agreements require to be accompanied by Certificates of Origin or Exporters' Statements of Origin!
